The Beginning, Middle, and the End [Plot/Open To Kusa Only]

Silence. Silence is what woke him up. Woke him up from the darkness. However, it was ambition that made the lone shinobi get to his feet, to rub the dust off his clothes, to take his first steps into the sunlight. He blinked his eyes, slowly adjusting to the new enviroment. Unsure of what to do, he merely followed on impulse, on urge. He needs to....no...he must capture someone and return them to the darkness. Why? Why not? Even Itzo, the young criminal, didn't even know, but he knew he had too for some queer reason. He quickly jumped for the trees and began rushing to the Gates of his former village....Kusanagkure. As he got their, he felt at his side, and noticed a long blade. A Katana. Since when did he...? Just how long had he blacked out? Unsure, he merely gripped the handle tightly as he went further, his eyes narrowing in on the formation in the distance. He was very close. Soon, he came to the tree nearest to the gate, and sat there in utter wait, his body concealed by the branches and leaves of the tree, but his keen eye-sight managing to see the gate and the surrounding area of it. Much like a predator stalking it's prey, he merely stopped moving and wait

(Evening Time)

Forty minutes. It had been forty minutes since she had arrived at the village gates waiting for a certain someone who had yet to show up. Lured with the promise of spending the day training with the boy she had a crush on ever since she placed in team four, Alyssa had shown up a bit earlier than what was arranged but she couldn’t help it. When he had shown up at her house and invited her to train with him, Alysaa nearly exploded in sheer delight, nearly. Thankfully her ability to keep her emotions in check when in his presence had prevented her from bouncing off the walls. Though she didn’t understand why they were going to train in the evening after all wouldn’t during the day make more sense? Maybe he was busy then; it didn’t matter though as long she was with him.

Rocking back and forth on heels, her purple hues scanned the immediate vicinity for anyone resembling her Kuzan-chan. It wasn’t because she was getting impatient but it was due to the fact that she couldn’t shake the feeling that she was being watched, maybe she was just being paranoid? Letting out a soft sigh she silently hoped that he would hurry and get here soon.

Itzo merely watched her as she waited. What she was waiting for, he didn't know. But he really didn't care as well. His instincts were overloading. He HAD to capture her. He needed to. He didn't need a reason why. Fishing out a smoke bomb from his pocket, he quickly threw it to the girl's position. Once it would detonate, Itzo would then spring down to the ground, ninja wire in hand, and attempt to the girl up, assuming she would not move from her spot as the bomb went off. If she did, Itzo would then quickly retreat back into the trees, his eyes peering through the leaves once more to find his prey and give chase if need be. He was bot about to fail capturing this person, even if he didn't know why.

Kuzan had done a lot of crazy things recently. He had fought against his old 80 year-old uncle for the last bowl of soup and got beat, he had helped an old lady wrestle a bear, and finally he had been set up on some training thing by a friend of his. He didn't know why he was told to go train with the girl at night, surely a daytime training session was in order? Kuzan would have loved to have a chance to train instead of watching his family's restaurant.

Walking toward the meeting spot he felt as though something was wrong. He felt like something was watching him. He didn't think much of it, instead his eyes were focused on the teammate that was obviously waiting for him. As he moved to speak up he saw the smoke bomb fall. Clenching his teeth Kuzan fished through his bag for a kunai and at the first sight of movement in the trees, Kuzan would fire his kunai at the mid-point of the tree at whatever was falling from the tree.

Being interrupted was an uncommon experience for Itzo - accustomed as he was to the smooth and clean completion of his tasks and assignments - the sudden addition of an unexpected factor irritated the sanguine haired male. It rankled a chain, and so with a possibly unnessacery amount of violence shuddering through his thin, wirey frame Itzo acted with all the due speed his body could provide him to act against the small dark shape he saw determinedly flinging itself to act on his path to the ground. As he had been nary fifteen meters above the level surface of the earth below, the kunai itself met him a little ways past the halfway mark of his original position and where he would land on the ground should his trajectory be unhampered and left to fulfil its predestined course. Unfortunately, Itzo had a mission to accomplish. A grand goal, and allowing his mortal coil to be pierced by the kunai ran counter to this scheme. And so Itzo acted to remain aligned with his scheme and moved to shape the world accordingly.

With a hissing shriek, Itzo drew the katana from its scabbard swiftly and struck downwards - rotating his body in the air as he displaced his centre of gravity so that he spun so that his orientation was reversed. Striking towards the kunai, Itzo slid the tip of his blade into the circular grip of the kunai and continued his rotation through the air as he collected the projectile - as he fell to the ground he rolled so that the impact was lessened and tucked the blade away from his body so that it would not turn traitor against its master. As he performed the motion, Itzo quietly palmed an explosive note and attached it to the handle of the kunai. As he rose from the crouch his roll had ended with he flicked his sword, and sent the throwing blade spinning away in the general direction it had come. It was not directly aimed, but Itzo had sent it towards the rough location it had originated from. Performing a set of hand seals, Itzo prepared to unleash the Great Fireball Technique as the smokescreen began to clear from the sweet evening breeze as the sun set on the horizon and the difference in temperature swept across the land.
